The Texas Conference on Regionalism, the annual conference of Texas' regional planning councils, is sponsored each year by the Texas Association of Regional Councils. Today, regional councils operate programs across subject areas ranging from public safety and emergency preparedness to human and social services. Texas’ regional councils are instrumental in the planning and expenditure of funds derived from local, state, and federal resources.
